As the Estonian political elections came up in March 2015, foreign chambers came together under the umbrella of FICE (Foreign Investors Council of Estonia) and united forces for the pre-election political debate in English with the representatives from the 4 major political parties. 

The only English-language election debate focused on the economic and fiscal outlook for the next four years to come. It featured former finance minister Jürgen Ligi (Reform Party), Head of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Marko Mihkelson (IRL), Head of the Parliament’s Financial Committee Rannar Vassiljev (Social Democrats), and political scientist Kerstin-Oudekki Loone(Center Party).
